Hats off to "Kathal" Team

Recently watched tamil movie "Kathal" (Starring Boys Bharath, Sandhya) produced by ace director Shankar and directed by his assistant Balaji Shakthivel. Whole team is new to the cinema except the hero and everybody have exceeded their performances including "Kataandi", "so called" baghyraj, hero's friend. :-). Unusual "real" Tragedy Story taking place in madurai (my home town) with dialogue deliveries in their local style. may be that could be the reason, why i fell love with this movie.

Unveiling an "Action Plan for Employment Generation," the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has called for finding "gainful employment for around 76 million people" over the next five years so that India could become "a developed country before 2020."

Speaking to the nation on the eve of the 56th Republic Day, the President devoted his entire customary address to the theme of employment. Even though the National Rural Employment Guarantee Bill, 2004 had been introduced, concerted and sustained efforts would be needed to achieve the objectives of the proposed law, he said.

President also insisted on Rural Dev and Media Role.

Everytime,we see our president,we get some kind of confidence that india will be a developed country soon!

AR Rahman's Intro and Music Performance in 2004

Being a die hard fan of AR.Rahman(chk out his profile @ http://www.khojhyderabad.com/ent/Profiles/A%20R%20Rahman.asp), I really loved to listen and criticize his music. I still remember a outing to a cassette shop in 199* with my cousin for buying rajinikanth’s Annamalai Music. It was K.Balachander Production and back side of the cover was ad for their next project titled “Roja”. Was little surprised to have a new name in the cover and was wondering what kind of music he will contribute to Manirathnam Movie.

Time went on and I first listened to Roja’s “Pudhu Vaelai Mazhai” in DD “Oliyum Oliyum”. To say the truth, I got freezed with Jazzy Michael Jackson kind of Music.

No wonder he won National Award along with our Vairamuthu (“Meen Pudeethu Meendum Aatreel Veeda Aasai”…who can ever think of these lines?)

I guess his Music in Meenaxi (Hey Rishta, Chinnama), Yuva (Fannaa, Jana Gana Mana, Kudha Hafees) Swades (Yeh Jo Desh, Huhi Chala) in Hindi was pretty good followed by some of his wonderful music in New(Tamil Movie Name).

First Blog

Today is Jan 16, 2005. We call it "Pongal day" in Tamil. It's auspicious month for tamils called "Thai".( It's not "Thai"land..it's thai) There is a saying in our town."Thai pirandhaal Vazhi Pirakum" which means "If thai month starts,all good problems will have a way towards solution".This is my first blog. All i wanted to do from 2005 is to do some "blogging". It's certainly not because i was affected by Blog Syndrome.I want to share with external world abt my thinking on World, india, Music, Software.But..hey wait...already thousands are doing that.Why you ? Who is gonna listen to your scrap ?
